Founded in 1976, the Menifee Valley Humane Society is an all volunteer animal welfare organization that is dependent on the good will and talents of our friends and volunteers. Our focus is to promote community education on responsible pet care and ownership, which is a lifetime commitment--for the life of the pet. Through education, it is our hope that both children and adults will learn the importance of responsible pet care, including spaying and neutering to help solve the problem of pet overpopulation.

Here is an important fact from the Humane Society of the United States:

"Every time a person is born in America, so are 15 dogs and 45 cats, too many for the number of available homes."

This illustrates the magnitude of the pet overpopulation crisis. It is also important to be aware of the fact that many homeless dogs and cats end up in shelters and are killed. Everyone must do their part by spaying and/or neutering their pet! By working together, we can help reduce pet overpopulation and save lives!

Please note: Since we have no shelter or facility, any animals we rescue and/or take in are cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

The Menifee Valley Humane Society is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, EIN #33-0874665.
All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
